Technology & Human Development
Technology has become one of the primary environments through which people think, learn, communicate, work, and make decisions. My research explores how technology, design, and human behavior interact to shape those experiences — with a focus on the conditions that help people think clearly, decide well, and live intentionally.
Rather than studying individual products or trends, this program investigates broader questions about human flourishing in digital environments.
Research Investigations
Each investigation explores a specific question within the Technology & Human Development research program.
The Quality of the Relationship
An investigation into what actually distinguishes healthy technology use from unhealthy technology use.
The Conditions of Coexistence
A study of what allows a single environment to hold more than one legitimate experience at once, instead of quietly forcing everyone toward the same one.
The Places We Become
A study of how the spaces we inhabit quietly shape identity, behavior, and belonging.
Each investigation begins with an observation, not a conclusion. The goal is to follow evidence wherever it leads — refining questions through literature and reflection, and translating findings into frameworks, prototypes, or interventions where appropriate.
Each investigation generally follows the same progression:
